The Town wishes to advise residents that there is a water break on the corner of Bark and Cole Street..

Residents in the following areas will have no water until repairs are complete:
-Bark Street
-Cole Street
-Hill Street

Residents may experience water discolouration and low pressure throughout the Town for the remainder of the day.

The Town of Pictou apologizes for any inconvenience to customers.

Request for Proposals - Branding, Naming, Visual Identity Development - Hector Quay Visitors Marina

The Town of Pictou is inviting qualified branding and creative professionals to submit proposals to develop a refreshed brand identity for the Hector Quay Visitor’s Marina.

As part of the Town’s Waterfront Development Plan, the marina is being redeveloped into a first-class marine facility and vibrant public destination, offering expanded berths, enhanced services, and welcoming public spaces. The new brand will clearly distinguish the marina from nearby heritage attractions, reduce visitor confusion, and support tourism, transient boaters, and local community use. New name options will be explored as part of this project.

The successful proponent will deliver a scalable brand strategy, naming approach, and visual identity system that can extend across future waterfront and recreation assets.

The Town of Pictou advises residents that Public Works will be conducting overnight snow removal on Caladh Avenue and Water Street tonight.

Residents are kindly asked to refrain from parking on Caladh Avenue and Water Street overnight to allow crews to complete this work safely and efficiently.
