Welcome to the Pictou Soccer Club. For more than 30 years, it has been our responsibility to provide the youth of Pictou and surrounding area, with access to a quality soccer program. Pictou Soccer has committed itself to the fundamental principles of involvement and enjoyment for the children that we serve. Pictou Soccer is dedicated to providing the very best quality and opportunity for players to participate in this great sport.

Pictou Soccer Club has a multi-part structure to it. We operate a recreational House League format that provides the opportunity for every player to participate in the game of soccer, in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. It is open to all players from ages 5 to 10 years. This format is the heart of our soccer program, introducing the game to players and ensuring that everyone gets the opportunity to participate. We try diligently to provide this recreational opportunity, in a fun, engaging and inviting manner to all players. Playing should be FUN!

Pictou Soccer Club is about providing the best opportunities for the youth of our area to participate in this wonderful sport and recreational activity. A volunteer Executive, works continuously to create the best possible program in every facet of participation. We believe that participation should be a fun and enjoyable experience for players. We, and all of the volunteers, hope that everyone continues to aid us in continually providing the very best soccer experience for your children. After all, that is why this program exists!

Together, we can make soccer an enjoyable experience and activity for everyone involved.

Ivan Stulac Fund

This is a program that we have in place for players that may not be able to afford the fees. We work with Sport Nova Scotia and Jump Start as well as our own funding to support the players as Pictou Soccer Club feels every child should have a opportunity to play. For more information on this program please contact, Ann Stulac at 902-485-5095

Schedule

The program typically begins the first week of May and runs for 8 weeks. The first ½ hour is drills and techniques – 2nd ½ hour is a game.

Volunteer

Our club is run solely on volunteers. Currently, we are looking to grow our executive and volunteer base for coaches, canteen, field set up etc. to ensure the club can move forward and grow with the new generations. If you are interested in volunteering or have more information please contact Judy Garland at 902-382-2326.

If you have not been up to the field to see our players in action, please feel free to come any time to see what we are all about.
