The main highway within Pictou County is the 104 Trans Canada Highway which feeds into points throughout the United States and Canada. There are roughly 96.5 kms of Trans Canada highway passing through the centre of the County. TCH 104 links New Glasgow to Truro, Halifax, Moncton (and points West) on twinned highway and also links New Glasgow to Antigonish and Cape Breton. Taking Exit 22 off the TCH 104 leads unto the TCH 106 which travels directly to Pictou, 17 kms.
