The deCoste is the premiere, professional performing arts venue in Northeastern Nova Scotia located on the beautiful Pictou waterfront. The 400 seat facility features a state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting system. The deCoste Performing Arts Centre has long been a cherished gathering place for Pictou County and Northern Nova Scotia residents. The latest expansion and upgrades prioritize creating barrier free environment to wlecome the entire community. The new facility now boasts external and internal ramps, mechanical lifts, barrier free washrooms and an enhanced hearing assist system, among other improvments. To futher this commitment, they have launched the Arts for All program, designed to eliminate barriers for those with physical, social and economic barriers.
