Please be advised that the Town of Pictou is currently accepting applications for partial residential property tax exemption. Applications can be filed up to December 22, 2026, on forms supplied by the Town. Download the pdf Application form(195 KB) or pick it up at the Town Office at 40 Water St.
Partial exemptions can be granted to owners/principal residents of homes of up to $495 in situations where the total income of all residents over the age of 18 in the household was under $30,960 for 2025.
