NOTICE OF SECOND (FINAL) READING OF A BY-LAW RESPECTING OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLES AMEMNDMENTS & PUBLIC INPUT MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Council for the Town of Pictou on April 22, 2025 at 6:30pm will be conducting second/final reading of the by-law in the Pictou Town Council Chambers, 71 Front Street.

The object of the By-Law amendments is to allow off-highway vehicles on certain streets so that they may access some town amenities.

The proposed by-law can be inspected at the Town Office, 40 Water Street, Pictou, during regular office hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, or by visiting this pdf link(428 KB) .

A Public Input meeting will be held on the same topic on April 22, 2025 at 6pm in Council Chambers. Anyone wishing to speak must register at nicole.macdonald@townofpictou.ca by April 16, 2025 at 12 noon.
